Ukrainian rescuers continue to eliminate the consequences of floods in the Republic of Slovenia
During August 13, the combined detachment of the State Emergency Service carried out work on clearing, widening, changing of the riverbed and bank protection of the Savinha River at two locations.
During the day, 260 meters of the riverbed have been cleared and widened (410 meters since the beginning of work), 2 600 cubic meters of garbage have been moved (2630 cubic meters from the beginning of work), 60 m of dam has been built (60 m from the beginning of work) and 120 m of bank has been strengthened (270 m rom the beginning of work).
A meeting with the liaison officer of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism coordination center was also held.
