Ukrainian rescuers continue their work in the Republic of Slovenia
During August 14, Ukrainian rescuers continued work on clearing, widening, changing the channel and shore fortification of the Savinha River at two locations.
During the day, 250 meters of the river bed were cleared and widened (660 meters since the start of work), 2,050 cubic meters of garbage were moved (from the start of work - 4,680 cubic meters), 100 meters of embankment was built (from the start of work - 160 meters) and 120 meters of shore were strengthened (from the start of work - 390 meters).
An analysis of the house destroyed by the flood, which was located in the river bed, was also carried out.
At the request of the ERCC coordination center, assistance was provided in the transportation by 2 SESU trawls of 2 vehicles of large-scale military engineering vehicles to the area of emergency recovery works (total route of about 600 km).
