The shelling is continuing in Luhansk oblast: there were damaged the power lines, pump station, thermal power plant, tank park of storage of the remains of fuel oil.

During the past 24hrs, in the area of the Joint Forces Operation, the SES units have made 18 interventions to prevent emergencies, extinguish fires and eliminate other dangerous events, during which:

Around 11.35hrs February 19, information was received about shelling in Schastianskyi district, namely in Shchastia Town.

On February 18, as a result of shelling, from approximately 12.00hrs. - 12.09hrs., unknown persons from the direction of the territory temporarily controlled by illegal armed groups shelled the town of Shchastya. As a result of the shelling, the administrative building of the 32nd State Fire and Rescue Unit was damaged, namely: fragments damaged the facade of the building and drainage.

Fire and rescue units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Luhansk oblast work closely with the military 24/7. They promptly arrive at the sites of the shelling, eliminate their consequences and help the affected population.

During the recent week (October 04 – October 10) the units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine performed interventions to prevent emergencies, ensured rapid response to accidents and consequence relief, fire-fighting, and other rescue activities.

Today, on September 1, more than 48 tons of humanitarian cargo left Ukraine for Lithuania. This is the second part of assistance out of three, which Ukraine sends in accordance with the Decree of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the order of the Cabinet of Ministers.

During the last week (from 3 to 9 of May) units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have made interventions in order to prevent emergencies, to respond to events and to eliminate their consequences, to extinguish fires and other rescue measures.

During the recent week (March 15–21) the units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine performed interventions to prevent emergencies, ensured rapid response to accidents and consequence relief, fire-fighting, and other rescue activities.

On March 18, the Championship of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Sambo Wrestling started at the athletics arena of Sumy State University. About 60 athletes took part in the competition – junior enlisted, senior officers and employees of civil protection bodies and units from different regions of the state as well as cadets of departmental educational institutions.

Pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine conduct daily work to inspect the territory of the country, detection, seizure and destruction of explosive devices from past wars. In the past 24 hours alone, on March 15, 25 trips were made, during which 65 munitions were found.
