Rescuers appeal to the citizens not to risk their lives when going on hike tours in poor weather conditions
For several weeks in a row, the rescuers have been persistently warning the citizens about the avalanche danger on the slopes of the Carpathians. Snowfalls and blizzards in the highlands pose a direct threat to human life and health of tourists who, despite the warnings of the rescuers, go to the mountains in bad weather. Rescuers are permanently involved in the search and rescue of people who lost the way, particularly in the mountains, and deviated from the planned route, or got injuries during the hike.

Rescuers ask citizens to follow safety rules when spending leisure time in mountainous areas
Despite the warnings of the Rescue Service, citizens often violate safety rules while on vacation in the mountains, which can have very sad consequences for health and, as a result, ruined the weekend. Adverse weather conditions, overestimation of one's own physical strength and capabilities, non-compliance with safety rules while skiing lead to injuries, frostbite and hypothermia, disorientation in the mountains and more. This issue becomes especially relevant in January, when citizens go on vacation to the Carpathians, while the temperature reaches below zero, and forecasters always warn of avalanche danger.
