Kyiv: Kyiv rescuers receive fire and rescue vehicles from German partners
Today, 5 new fire and rescue vehicles have been delivered to Kyiv from German partners:
2 Renault Kerax all-terrain fire trucks with a 6x4 wheel formula;
1 Renault MDB3 vehicle;
2 Iveco Daily with a 4x4 wheel configuration.
Serhiy Krivoshlykov, the head of the Kyiv rescue service, said: "Thanks to the new fire and rescue equipment, firefighting time is significantly reduced, and rescuers act more efficiently and smoothly. The vehicles, which are comfortable for the personnel, convenient and adapted to the conditions of a big city, will become reliable helpers for the safety of the city's residents. I am grateful to our European friends for their crucial assistance and to the Kyiv City State Administration for supporting and developing the Kyiv garrison."
These vehicles were donated as part of humanitarian aid by the German sister city of Leipzig. The project was funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and manufactured by our Polish partners, Mito Truck, in the shortest possible time.
We sincerely thank our international partners and look forward to further fruitful cooperation.
