"The supply of new humanitarian aid has been agreed" - Serhii Kruk during a conversation with representatives of Finland
The Head of the SESU Serhii Kruk during his participation in the 50th Meeting of the EU Civil Protection General Directors, that took place in Stockholm, told about the issue of providing the next humanitarian aid from Finland.
Serhii Kruk thanked the General Director of the Rescue Service Kimmo Kohvakka for support in the war against russia.
"We are grateful to the Head of the Rescue Service of Finland for the assistance provided. New deliveries of humanitarian aid have been agreed upon. Fire vehicles, other equipment and more than 2,000 fire extinguishers are expected to arrive from the Government of Finland in the near future", - said Serhii Kruk.
He also added that Finland is a leading country in the world in terms of the availability and functioning of shelters for the population.
"We are ready to share the experience gained during the war in the field of functioning of the civil protection system in conditions of war, as well as the features of the arrangement of population shelters. We are waiting for a delegation of rescuers from Finland in Ukraine!" - said the Head of the Service.
It is a reminder that the Government of Finland delivered for the needs of the SESU units: 10 armored modules for the accommodation of personnel of the SESU units, 2 ambulances, 2 buses and 2 generators.
