On November 11, a Memorandum of Cooperation between the rescuers of Lviv region and the public organization Association of Mountain Guides "Rovinj" was signed. This cooperation will be based on many areas of the security sector, the tourism industry and the activities of mountain search and rescue teams, as well as training centers for mountain guides and rescuers.

On November 8, Ruslan Biloshitskyi, Deputy Head of the State Emergency Service, met with Matt Wills, the new supervisor for Ukrainian programs for the Forest Service of the US Department of Agriculture.

Rescuers of Kyiv Angels team Oleksandr Baran and Volodymyr Dudka represent Ukraine at the competitions.

As part of the project "Improving the efficiency of the response of Ukrainian rescue services to emergencies - Stage IV", rescuers from Odessa region are on a working visit to the city of Krakow, Poland. This project is funded by the Polish Development Assistance Program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

Zaporizhia oblast is one of the most technogenic regions of Ukraine. Currently, 67 united territorial communities have been created in the oblast, and the issue of ensuring the safety of citizens in the respective territories is a priority. According to the calculations made by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in Zaporizhia Oblast, in order to ensure fire safety in the oblast, at least 88 local fire brigades must operate in addition to the SES units.

A delegation of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, headed by Vitaliy Fedunkiv, Deputy Head of the Main Department for Emergency Response, is taking part in the exercise. The exercise includes issues related to the operation of the rescue service in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Safe Community Forum, which takes place as part of the All-Ukrainian Forum Ukraine 30, is being held in the format of discussions within three thematic panels: “Development of a Safe Environment”, “Safe Infrastructure”, and “Development of Digital Services for Citizens”. Within the framework of the panel “Development of a Safe Environment” special attention was paid to the establishment and operation of security centers, local and voluntary fire and rescue teams in Ukraine.
