In order to provide first-aid psychological assistance to civilians in the event of a possible threat posed by hostilities, training under the UN Program for Peacebuilding and Reconstruction was launched in Kherson.

On November 17, the Center for Citizen Safety began its work in the Velykokuchurivka territorial community. It became the second one created in Chernivtsi oblast. The celebrations on the occasion of its opening were attended by the leadership of the Main Department of the SES of Ukraine in Chernivtsi oblast, the head of the Velykokuchurivka territorial community, representatives of emergency services and residents of the community.

The Men's and Women's World Sports and Combat Sambo Championships took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from November 12 to 15. The national team of Ukraine was represented by twenty best athletes, among whom was an employee of the Cherkasy Institute of Fire Safety, master of sports of international class in judo and sambo, two-time European champion, champion of the II European Games 2019 Anastasia Komovych.

On November 15, an International scientific-practical conference on critical infrastructure in Central Europe started its activity at the Obuda University (Hungary, Budapest).

Starting today, the rescuers support the team of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the framework of the NATO TIDE security hackathon. This is not the first time a hackathon has been held in Ukraine, but particularly a cyber hackathon in this format is unique in our country.

During November 11–14, 2021, the joint exercise of mountain rescuers of Prykarpattia and Bieszczady Voluntary Mountain Search and Rescue Group (GOPR) took place within the framework of the project “Adaptation of the former observatory on Mount Pip Ivan to the needs of the high-altitude rescue training center” implemented under the Joint Operational Program Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014–2020.

During the recent week (November 08–14) the units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine performed interventions to prevent emergencies, ensured rapid response to accidents and consequence relief, fire-fighting, and other rescue activities.

Since the beginning of the academic year, cadets and students of Lviv State University of Life Safety have been studying at Kingston University, majoring in Environmental Science, Cyber Security and English Philology.

On November 11, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine hosted a working meeting between representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Italian Embassy in Ukraine and Italian companies. The participants discussed the possibilities of cooperation for re-equipment of units of the SES of Ukraine with special equipment.

On November 11, a Memorandum of Cooperation between the rescuers of Lviv region and the public organization Association of Mountain Guides "Rovinj" was signed.

Special tactical exercises, trainings and practical exercises with the population occupy an important place in the activities of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. In addition, such events help firefighters to improve their own professional skills and also allow them to work out joint actions together with other emergency services and employees of facilities in an emergency.

At the beginning of the new academic year, two applicants of Lviv State University of Life Safety are studying in Tallinn (Republic of Estonia) within the ERAMUS + Learning Mobility of Individuals program (grand KA107-CA64DEEB).
